The new age has seen a paradigm shift in the classroom teaching and learning processes. School is now synonymous with the holistic development of the child, who is no longer expected to be a book worm who restricts himself to the confines of the classroom. Along with excellence in academics, the student is now adept in sports and oodles of extracurricular activities as well.
We do not believe in holding our students hostage to the classrooms. A plethora of activities are available to the students ensuring that the monotony of the classroom teaching is broken. Our vast playground, is spread over acres of land. The sports facilities which, inter alia, include a huge skating rink, a semi Olympic size swimming pool, clay court for lawn tennis, separate court for mini-tennis, a basketball court, a football ground, cricket field and a lot more.
We, at Shah International, offer a wide choice of co – curricular activities, such as instrumental and vocal music, classical and western dance, art and craft. A well-equipped gym takes care of fitness. The clear and blue water of the swimming pool is a source of great delight to the young swimmers as also to the beginners, of course, hygiene and cleanliness is preponderant to us.
In other words, the school aims at the holistic development of the child, thus ensuring that he is well equipped to find the ground under his feet establishes himself and be a contributor to the society.
Sports and Games
‘A healthy mind and a healthy spirit,’ is what we believe in. Here, at Shah International, the inherent talent of the students is honed and groomed under the expert guidance of professional coaches who motivate the students to push their own boundaries. Watch them at any inter school or even Zonal event, our students do not return, not even once, without a Championship Trophy or first and second prize. This is symptomatic of the fact that we have a firm conviction to maintain a fine balance between academics and co curricular activities, therein providing holistic education to the children.
